Lift & Slide Door Hardware

  • Corrosion Resistant - Components made of materials that are corrosion resistant or plated with anti-corrosion coatings.
  • Composite Threshold - Thermal isolation from interior and exterior while providing excellent strength and durability from wear and weather.
  • Central Point - Superior insulation characteristics with the aid of a decompression chamber. Protection from water, air, temperature, noise, and burglars are all benefits of this system.
  • Double Seals - Inner and outer seals on the sliding sash boost the performance ratings of the thick timbers of the Lift & Slide. These seals are safe from wear due to the lifting of the sash before it slides.
  • Top Seal - This additional foam rubber seal controls air movement, weather, and debris to further aid the two other main seals. This decompression chamber increases thermal performance.  
  • Secure - European locking cylinder of hardened steel and anti-drill pins is available for secure locking. Secure ventilation is also available with the door partially open.
  • Window Version - Sliding windows are available with this same hardware, but in a reduced size to meet the needs of windows smaller sizes and weights.

Patio Door Hardware

  • Door Combinations - Main door can have handle and lock, while operating sidelight or door can have concealed locks. Or, both doors can have their own handles and locks but main door is still the master door and must be opened first.

Fold & Slide Door Hardware

  • Smooth Operation - High quality bearing wheels and tracks provide smooth operation for the heavy sashes to fold out of the way when needed, up to 285 pounds each sash.
  • Large Openings - Unobstructed openings up to 22 feet wide can be achieved with this system, with each sash being up to 39” for larger glass viewing area. Two to seven sashes complete the opening, based on the width.
  • Ventilation - One door can be tilted, same way as a Tilt & Turn Window for standard ventilation.
  • Corrosion Resistant - Components made of materials that are corrosion resistant or plated with anti-corrosion coatings.
  • Secure - Concealed hinges and an easy to operate central locking system provide sound security.
  • Quick Entry - One door operates as a standard swinging door for quick, easy access in and out of the building. This door is also the tilting door for ventilation.

Door Seals - Italian made thermoplastic TPE-S, which is a closed cell triple extrusion elastomer in expanded thermoplastic. This provides excellent sealing properties by being moisture resistant, exterior softness to conform to sealing surface, optimal elastic return to prevent compression set, and micro pore closed cell structure provides better insulation properties along with acoustic isolation for better sound control.

  • Interior Seal - Traps air and noise between primary seal and point where sash overlaps frame.

  • Lift & Slide - Requires a special handle type that we also carry. This handle is larger than most door handles to provide the ease in lifting the large sliding door panels. Available in the same high quality materials and finishes listed.
